Tissue Box Cover Workshop

My regular group of ladies recently asked me to run a workshop decorating a tissue box cover.  So I put my thinking cap on and the following photo's is what I came up with.

My Wonderful Husband Alex made the tissue covers from MDF so the girls could decorate them using the Jo Sonia paints and Indigo Blu stamps. It was a full days workshop but it seemed to go no where.  It is true what they say, Time goes quickly when you are having fun. The girls were thrilled with their project and the extra paint they were wearing on their hands.  The photo below shows the girls finished boxes.

The Jo Sonia paints are a high quality pigment paint and can be purchased  from Flutterby Crafts in Thatcham.  Lynn the owner of Flutterby's has recently asked me to run this workshop again at her shop on the 15th June for her regular ladies.  If any one is interested please give Lynn a call to reserve your place.  You will not be disappointed.  All the materials are provided including the tissue boxes.  All you need to bring along is your lunch.  The poster below gives you all the details you need.

If you good to see you if you can make it. Jeanette x

Design Team

I have really neglected my blog lately, so I have to get my act together and start telling you what I have been up toWell since my last post in April I have run several workshops and joined Craft Creations Plus design team.  I start with the samples I have made using the CD's.

The first CD - Flowers in Bloom

A beautiful collection of watercolour floral artwork from the British artist Jan Harbon.  It was a pleasure to make some of the samples as shown on Create and Craft  back in May.  It was very exiting to see my work shown on TV even though no one knew who made them. Silly I know but it made me smile.  I hope you like what I made.

The most recent CD I have enjoyed making samples for is 'The Great Outdoors'. A humorous and colourful CD Rom for all the family.  Mark Bardsley is the artist that has created the collection of humans and life like creatures that inhabit the great outdoors.  Again I hope you like the samples I made using this CD.

Three of the cards I used the templates to make them.  The top left I used the Deco, the top right I used the Magic template and the bottom right I used the Pop Up template.
