Flower Flourishes

Some more catching up....  Each third Friday of every month we have pro-marker club.  The following example is one we made last month.  The stamps are made by Inkadinkado, clear unmounted stamps.  These images are really delicate and stamp beautifully.  The girls really enjoyed using these stamps.  The fine nibs for the pro-markers were needed to colour some of the image.

An insert was added to the inside of the card but first grey memento was used on one of the images and stamped at each corner.

A lot to catch up on....

Sorry I have not made any posts over the last month or so.  My husband had been poorly (man flu) and subsequently passed his bugs onto me.  (My fault, I don't think I gave him enough sympathy).  On top of feeling unwell, I had placed my camera cable somewhere safe and was unable to find it any where.  This has stopped me taking photo's of all the cards that have been made during the workshops.  I had to place an order  for a new one.  I will find it one day proberly in the most stupid of places.  As you can image I have alot to catch up on....

At the begining of July we had a stand at the Art Stamp Exhibition, Newbury Racecourse selling our range of templates under the name of Eureka Craft Designs.  The weekend went very well and it was lovely to meet up with all the retailers we have got to know and my regular customers.  It was also encouraging and enjoyable to meet new customers.

During the show we launched our new template '3D Reveal'.  This is a 3 dimentional card that can be folded flat and fits into an 8" x  8" envelope.  Can be made to be very detailed or to be put together very quickly.

From the above photographs, hopefully you will be able to see why it is called 3D Reveal.  The card is made up of several layers.  As the layers go backwards the apperture becomes smaller giving you the 3D effect.  This card was made using rubber stamps and watercolour pencils.  This card was not created in 5 minutes but hopefully you will agree was worth it.

The above example was made with patterned card and chip board shapes.  From start to finish, 3/4 of an hour to make.

The above images show you how the card looks when it is closed.  Even with the chip board shapes the card will fit into an 8" x 8" envelope.

I think you can safely say the recipent who receives a card like this would not have another one like it!

You can purchase the template from www.craftyneeds.com for only £6.99.  Comes will full instructions and photographs.  We are always on the other end of the line to give you help if you need it.
